[Bug 1483016] [NEW] Failed login attempts are not always showed

Public bug reported:

I'm using Ubuntu 15.10 dev with xscreensaver 5.30-1ubuntu1 and after a
successfull login xscreensaver has showed me for a short time that there
was 1 failed login attempt. But if I'm trying to reproduce this for
example by trying to login with a wrong password a few times and then
login by entering the correct password xscreensaver does not show me
anymore how many failed login attempts happened.

** Affects: xscreensaver (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
