  Lockscreen deadlocks when resuming with modified screen set

Bug description:
  Not reproducible 100% I'm afraid.

  Steps:
  * suspend
  * connect an external monitor
  * resume

  Expected:
  * laptop wakes up with both screens enabled

  Current:
  * laptop wakes up, tries to enable the external screen and deadlocks mid-way
