Message #132025
[Bug 1485676] [NEW] Windows title-bars doesn't handle correctly click from multitouch devices
Public bug reported:
Hi,
it seems that in Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 LTS with xfce4 as window manager, windows seems "locked" in their position on the screen. If I click on every other position the mouse pointer moves and click works, but on title-bar nothing happens, neither close/resize/hide buttons work.
After a few debugging I've found the problem is related to Xorg bug
#70790 (https://bugzilla.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=70790) which
has been fixed in January with patch at
https://bugzilla.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=111666.
So I've rebuilt the xorg-xserver-core packages with patch applied (just
3 lines) and everything works correctly.
Is there a way to have it fixed on main distribution too ?
Thank you,
Luca
