This happens to me as well.  Able to access my computer from 3.19.0-25.
Attempting to boot in kernel 3.19.0-26 causes low graphics mode followed
by a freeze on "starting version 219".

Bug description:
  After update and restart the computer fails to boot as it shows that
  it is running in the low graphics mode. Trying to troubleshoot with
  the use of backup configuration / default configuration fails. I had
  to downgrade kernel to access to the computer.
