Title:
rhythmbox power manager plugin doesn't show up in plugins dialog
Status in rhythmbox package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
ubuntu 11.10,
rhythmbox 2.90.1~20110908-0ubuntu1.1
Rhythmbox should prevent suspension when music is playing, if power-
manager plugin is enabled. Even though rhythmbox-plugins is installed
on my laptop and power-manager is found in /usr/lib/rhythmbox/plugins/
, I cannot enable power manager in rhythmbox because the relative
entry is not listed in the "edit > plugins" dialog. Thus the system
goes to sleep even when rhythmbox is playing. I tried enabling it
through gconf-editor, but it is not effective.
