Title:
  unable to "fetch" e-mail; program just states "fetching" with 0%
  retrieved until it times out

Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  When I click "send/receive mail," evolution does as it should and
  attempts to fetch the mail; however, the program simply times out
  without fetching any mail or sending an error message, so I have no
  idea what is wrong or how to fix it.
