Title:
rotation radio buttons do not take account of "restore previous
  configuration"

Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

If you rotate the screen using the radio buttons provided in the panel
icon (activated when "show monitors in panel" is ticked in Monitor
Preferences), a "Does the display look OK?" dialogue comes up. If you
restore the previous configuration or the dialogue times out after 30
seconds, the previous display orientation is restored, but the radio
button is not. So, for example, if your display is at "Normal"
orientation, you press "Left", you then choose to cancel that in the
ensuing dialogue, the "Left" radio button is still pressed when it
should revert to the "Normal" one.
