Title:
unity-settings-daemon crashed with signal 5 in _XReply() shortly after
python & skype crashed
Status in unity-settings-daemon package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I was using gitg to review some changes when my machine went back to
the login screen. I manually nudged ubuntu-bug to look at the third of
my crash reports and it has brought me to the point of raising this
bug.
Looking over the other crash reports that were suggested it was
unfortunately quite a vague set of circumstances leading up to the
problem occurring.
The Skype crash I cannot raise a ticket for on launchpad as it is not
a maintained project. The python bug was raised as Bug #1493103
