thank you for your bug but ppa issue are not ubuntu bugs and downgrades
from random ppa can't be supported by the ubuntu versions, that's not a
bug in the official ubuntu source

Bug description:
  Could have something to do with the fact that I had gnome 3.0
  installed before using ppa-purge to revert to unity. I am using ubuntu
  11.04. I was trying to update ubuntu but there was an error.
