Title:
IMAP mail concatenated/mixed on send and receive
Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird
Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0.0.22 (20090608) Installed: 2.0.0.22+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1
Ubuntu 9.04 64bit
I use Thunderbird as an IMAP client for Gmail-- several times a day I
will encounter improperly downloaded emails where the text of one
message gets mixed up with the text and headers of another. This is
not fixed by closing the email client and restarting. Also, the
message lists (sent, received, folders, etc.) do not match the folders
on Gmail-- some messages are missing from them, seemingly at random.
This is also affecting forwarded email, where I'll forward a message
to someone and they ask what it is-- since Thunderbird has forwarded
one of the garbled messages or forwarded a completely different
message.
Please let me know if I can provide debug information or more detail.
