Bug description:
  environment details
  ===================
  - release: 14.10
  - OS arch: 64bit
  - relevant package versions:
    - unity-greeter: 14.10.2-0ubuntu1
    - lightdm: 1.12.1-0ubuntu1
    - language-selector-common/language-selector-gnome: 0.135

  prerequisites
  =============
  - system is configured with two installed input languages/keyboard layouts.
  - login is configured to be locked by password.

  steps to reproduce
  ==================
  1. when logged in, change the input language to one other than the default (He in my case, En is default).
  2. log out/lock.
  3. while still in the login screen, change the input language back to the default (En in my case).
  4. login using a password.

  expected result
  ===============
  after login, the input language selected in the login screen should be selected.

  actual result
  =============
  after login, the input language selection made in the login screen is not persisted, and the input language selected in the previous session is now active again.
