Message #136249
[Bug 1496490] [NEW] detached maximized tab doesn't keep size information
Public bug reported:
When I have gnome-terminal maximized and detach a tab, it should keep
the size information of the original terminal window.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open gnome-terminal
2. Open second tab in terminal via File->New Terminal
3. Maximize the window (either drag it to the top of the screen or click the maximize button)
4. Detach one of the tabs (either by dragging it away e.g. to a second monitor or via menu Tabs->Detach Terminal)
Expected result:
The new window should have the size of the original window before it was maximized
What actually happens:
The new window is not in maximized mode, but has the size of the whole screen. You can not resize it by clicking the maximize button in the top bar, only by doing it manually.
