[Bug 1216493] Re: [xmir] Hotplugged monitors sometimes not detected until you log out/in again
XMir 1.0 (the old Xorg extension) is now deprecated and is not being
maintained or fixed. It is replaced by the new 'Xmir' binary (package
'xmir') introduced in Ubuntu 15.10 wily.

Title:
[xmir] Hotplugged monitors sometimes not detected until you log out/in
again
Status in Mir:
Won't Fix
Status in xorg-server package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
Hotplugged monitors are not detected under XMir until you log out/in
again.
Interestingly, unity-system-compositor remains unchanged and stable
across logins. This indicates the Mir server knows about the
hotplugging, but the client (XMir) just isn't getting the information
until it restarts.
