[Bug 791411] Re: Cannot click on recommendations when another app i "always on top"

Hi! Thanks for your bug report. As you may be aware, the upcoming
release of Ubuntu 11.10 will feature a redesigned software-center. The
bug you describe is no longer present in recent development versions of
software-center as we no longer display recommendations, so I'll close
this bug report. Please continue to report any bugs you may find. Thanks
again for your help!

Title:
Cannot click on recommendations when another app i "always on top"

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: software-center

Software centre often says "Welcome back! There are n new
recommendations for you." part of this is underlined, and clickable
(it links to the "n new recommendations".

Set a window to be "always on top", e.g. totem or nautilus, and then
open software centre. The software centre can be navigated as usual
(and website links are clickable), however the "n new recommendations"
  is un-clickable.
