[Bug 1234502] Re: XMir support for bypass incomplete -- there's still one buffer copy inside the DDX's

 

XMir 1.0 (the old Xorg extension) is now deprecated and is not being
maintained or fixed. It is replaced by the new 'Xmir' binary (package
'xmir') introduced in Ubuntu 15.10 wily.

Bug description:
  XMir support for bypass incomplete -- there's still one buffer copy
  inside the DDXs.

  This is why XMir doesn't yet perform as well as X.
