[Bug 1496992] [NEW] requirements of proprietary plugin path are too unclear

When choosing to install the proprietary plugin from a custom location
it is unclear what the requirement for the path are. The changes that
one hovers over the yellow text input field which displays the unmet
requirement is relatively small -> use a dialog or error message label.
