[Bug 291854] Re: Move window to workspace shortcuts not working

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug. The compiz program
that we currently use in Ubuntu is a C++ re-write of the original compiz
and was announced the 4th July 2010. Therefore, the bugs that were
reported before that date, will be marked as "Won't Fix" as they
probably exist in the original program which is not stored in launchpad.
(The last LTS that used the old compiz is the 10.04 which is not
supported anymore).

** Changed in: compiz (Ubuntu)
       Status: Triaged => Won't Fix

** Changed in: compiz
       Status: New => Won't Fix

Title:
  Move window to workspace shortcuts not working

Status in Compiz:

Status in compiz package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-session

  For years, I've always set up Alt-F1..Alt-F9 as shortcuts for Switch
  to workspace 1..9, and Shift-Alt-F1..Shift-Alt-F9 as shortcuts for
  Move window to workspace 1..9.

  When running compiz, the Shift-Alt-Fn shortcuts don't work: I can
  enter them into Preferences|Keyboard Shortcuts and they show up
  correctly there, but when I attempt to use them, nothing happens.
