recreate this on the latest release of Ubuntu and cannot reproduce it.
This bug is being marked as Invalid.  If you believe the problem to
still exist in the latest version of Ubuntu please comment on why that
is the case and change the bug status to NEW.

  Launcher: some new installed app-icons couldn't be removed or moved

Bug description:
  after installing an app with software-center, it adds an icon to the launcher and if i try to move that icon it seems to hang and doesn't finish the move action.
  choosing the remove from starter entry in right-click menu doesn't have any effect too.
