Title:
Abiility to customize lense behaviour
Status in Unity:
Opinion
Status in unity package in Ubuntu:
Opinion
Bug description:
Unity should expose at least two Lens customization options.
User should be able to dynamically disable a lens and also be able to
hide a lens.
I was reading about the adult lens recently and thought it is too
restrictive to not be able to hide a lens from the control centre.
ready-for-testing/)
Control centre should have should have something like this,
Lenses Status Visibility
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Torrents ON ON
Adult ON OFF
Gwibber OFF OFF
Currently, one has to remove packages or edit source to disable or
hide a lens.
I think disabling and enabling a lens is a very important feature. It
much like we have autostart for normal apps.
