Title:
  screen corruption after login

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I was using ubuntu 3.19.0.22 (15.04). On starting the computer, the
login screen was displayed. I logged in and then shortly after the
display appeared to crash (I have two monitors) bys displaying a
bizarre black and white pattern. The system did not respond to ctrl-
alt-del . Pressing one of the mouse buttons caused the display to
revert to a regular Ubuntu background. I rebooted, but had the same
problem. I then used the advanced login options to start up using
kernel 3.19.0.15 and all appear to work OK.
