[Bug 1494454] Re: Lock screen on wakeup from screensaver - feature request
Have you tried setting the delay to 1 second? If this still isn't
suitable, you might want to lock your screen manually rather than
waiting for the screen saver?

Title:
Lock screen on wakeup from screensaver - feature request
Status in xscreensaver package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
It would be really good if there could be a way of setting it so that
during the time that the screensaver is on, if there is any
interaction which wakesup the machine happens, for it to automatically
ask for the password like it can do after a set time if set. So that
if the screensaver turns on, and say somebody wiggles the mouse to
wake it up, it requests for the password before it allows them to log
in.
