  Cannot Increase Keyboard Repeat Rate

Status in unity-control-center package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  After entering unity-control-center I see the Keyboard Repeat Rate
  slide bar only allows selection between maybe your parent's and grand
  parent's settings.  As a strapping young lad I feel discriminated
  against by this keyboard repeat rate capping and the restriction on my
  freedom to control it.  Please fix the keyboard repeat rate capping.
  Next please work to fix the root problem, the general case.  Someone
  always thinks they know best how sensitive I want my mouse or how fast
  my keyboard repeat rate is or how small I want my font to be or that I
  should have a limit on my headphone volume so that I don't damage my
  ears.  Please instead consider a world where free people have private
  personal devices on which they control the settings.
