  HUD widget sometimes breaks when shrinking to show a single result

Bug description:
  close all open application windows.
  tap alt.
  type enter
  =there are no results. There should be results. Why does "enter" have no results but "ente" or "enter " do have results?
  hit spacebar
  select "Enter Location... (Go")
  Nothing happens - it should have opened the"Location" window
