Bug description:
  Some menu items have ON/OFF toggle states with checkmarks.

  Nautilus, for example, has "View Hidden FIles" (See HUD-
  Checkmark-1.png)

  It would be nice if the HUD would show the state of the toggle.  It
  currently does not.
