If you update to this following

If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Trusty
2. Install Chrome https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/ the 64bit deb
3. play videos on the YouTube, theverge.com, etc.
Workaround: go to additional drivers, install nvidia 331.38
