  Cinnamon high CPU usage

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I had huge slow-down and cpu usage with the nouveau packages for my nvidia card.
  lspci tells I have a GT 320M.
It works way much better with the proprietary drivers.
I had this problem under linux mint since 17.1, cinnamon 2.6 and under debian 8 with cinnamon 2.6 too.
It took my entire RAM and CPU.
