Title:
failed to burn some gpg keys to DVD (less than 1mb in small files)
Status in “brasero” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: brasero
I tried to burn some small files (gpg keys) to a DVD and it failed...
then I tried to burn the same files again but this time I also added a
single 8mb video file just to make it bigger. Still failed. I've not
tried burning anything in jaunty before so it might very well be that
it fails for all DVDs.
For example, I was worried when I saw this (even though its marked as
fixed): https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/brasero/+bug/307939
In general this is a desktop box which was cleanly installed from the
jaunty RC and then upgraded. The DVD burner is also a blueray burner
and a CD burner and it's from LG and the specific model for it is
"GGW-H20L".
I should also say that when burning it brasero it looks like it's
working, it takes a lot of times... it count up the megabytes (to
about 10mb which I was burning) and then in the very end it fails and
asks if I want to save or view the session log).
I was able to burn the same files using k3b and that program didn't
show any error. However, just now I also took one of the two failed
DVDs and put it into my other computer and it can see the files on
there even though brasero clearly said it failed?
