[Bug 1502921] Re: LightDM sets wrong environment variables

 

The attachment "lightdm_1.16.3-0ubuntu2.debdiff" seems to be a debdiff.
The ubuntu-sponsors team has been subscribed to the bug report so that
they can review and hopefully sponsor the debdiff.  If the attachment
isn't a patch, please remove the "patch" flag from the attachment,
remove the "patch" tag, and if you are member of the ~ubuntu-sponsors,
unsubscribe the team.

  LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8
  GDM_LANG=en
  LANGUAGE=en

  they should be:
  ikuya@UbuntuWily6:~$ env |grep LANG
  LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8
  GDM_LANG=ja
  LANGUAGE=ja

  According to this bug, every menu shows in English.
