[Bug 814032] Re: Alt-F2 no longer auto-completes (highlights suggestions)
As part of the big bug review for 16.04 LTS I have tested this on 15.10
and the bug is still there. I think this is a feature request rather
than a bug.
Results are displayed as soon as typing begins. Pressing Enter will run
the first result, so perhaps auto-completion isn't necessary?

Alt-F2 no longer auto-completes (highlights suggestions)

Bug description:
In 11.04, pressing Alt-f2 and typing your application means one has to select from a list of suggestions. Either:
1) using the mouse
2) the keyboard arrows
3) tabbing until you got to the thing you are after.
Back in 10.10 and before, a simple Alt-F2 meant a *very* quick launch because of suggestions auto-completed as soon as a unique name was found.
I think this needs marking as a reversion?
