[Bug 852999] Re: Epson Stylus Office tx300f crashes after aborting one scan and starting another
I tested this on two different old HP scanners and this happens on both.
I I abort an scanning, the application can no longer detect the scanner.
Depending on the model Simple Scan can hang or not.
It doesn't happen in a modern HP multifunction.

Bug description:
I have an AIO Epson Stylus Office tx300f mutifunctional printer who
has scanner function. I was scanning a text. The simple-scan software
was working right, so, when i ordered to stop the scan, effectly the
scanner has stopped, but the reader-bar on the scanner does'n begun to
idle position (hide at simply saw). When i tried to do a new scan, the
simple-scan software has stop, and begins with the connecting image by
undefined time, until appears the message (my ubuntu is spanish
cunfigured, i'm native spokener of that, excuse my english,)
advertising me about the scanner have failed, and, as detail, shows me
that have failed when connecting. Thank you so much by reading that
and helping me on it.
