Title:
touchpad behaves strangely
Status in xserver-xorg-input-synaptics package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Hello,
My touchpad works fine except sometimes when I am using gedit, evince or eog.
When using gedit, sometimes (I don't know why it occurs), if I use the touchpad to move the cursor, it will select the text like I was holding down left click and moving at the same time, it's very annoying.
When viewing a pdf in evince, sometimes when I scroll with 2 fingers, it behaves completely strange, like it zooms out randomly, it happens also a lot of time when I try to take a screenshot with Shift+Print.Screen and I select the area I want.
And in eog, when viewing a picture, if I try to zoom with Ctrl + scrolling with 2 fingers, it automaticly zooms out to -2147483648% so it's just a black windows...
Do you know what is the source of these bugs ?
I can provide more info, just ask
Thanks a lot
