Title:
  Secondary monitor does not turn on using a KVM switch

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Using a StarTech.com switch (SV231DPDDUA), the secondary monitor does
  not turn on.

  Both DELL TFT-s are with displayport connected to the StarTech.com
  switch.

  The computers have 2 displayport outputs. 4 displayports go into the
  switch to switch 2 monitors at once.

  If computer boots up, it does not recognize the second monitor. The second monitor is recognized under
  windows, but it cannot be turned on: driver failure.
