  Motorola K3 doesn't work on Karmic

Status in modemmanager package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: modemmanager

  My Motorola K3 worked fine under Jaunty, but it stopped working in a
  fresh installation of Karmic.

  Today I've just realized that the issue can be resolved upgrading
  modemmanager from version  0.2.git.20091014t233208.16f3e00-0ubuntu1
  (current Karmic version) to version
  0.2.git.20091027t005933.4e74953-0ubuntu2~nmt1 (taken from
  NetworkManager daily trunk builds PPA).

  So I'm asking if this version can be pulled in Karmic repositories,
  because I think it could resolve problems with other phones like
  mine...
