  Cheese crashes when choose the "effects" or it closes when open

Bug description:
  My computer is a notebook Dell model Vostro 5470a. Operation system is
  Ubuntu 14.04LTS with Kernel 3.19.0-31-generic.

  The webcam this notebook is integrated. Through the command "lsusb",
  brings the following information:

  Bus 003 Device 002: ID 8087:8000 Intel Corp. 
  Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
  Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
  Bus 001 Device 005: ID 8087:07dc Intel Corp. 
  Bus 001 Device 004: ID 1bcf:28b4 Sunplus Innovation Technology Inc. 
  Bus 001 Device 003: ID 138a:0011 Validity Sensors, Inc. VFS5011 Fingerprint Reader
  Bus 001 Device 002: ID 046d:c535 Logitech, Inc. 
  Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

  When open this program through of Terminal, the following error
  appears:

  "segmentation fault"
