Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit  and leak is still present. 700Mb after 3 hours...

Bug description:
  In an up-to-date precise install, memory usage by nm-applet climbs
  rapidly to hundreds of Mb within an hour after it's started. Valgrind
  log attached.
