Title:
Webcam not working properly!
Status in cheese package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
First of all it was almost impossible for me to install 12.04 beta,
because the installation window always crashed when it came to the
place where you take a photo of your self or choose a login picture. I
had to download Kamerka (nothing else worked like cheese and some
other) which kept ma camera busy so i could proceed whith the install.
Cheese still doesnt work... I develop video recognition with OpenCV
software so a camere is pretty important for me. I also have a
Logitech C210 usb webcam which after the update streams only ~160x110p
video. My built in laptop camera is Syntek Sonix 1.3MPixel USB 1.0
Camera which is having trouble with linux since ever(if the colors are
ok, then the image is upside-down) now its come to just crashes. Oh,
by the way my laptop is Asus F3 sereis. F3sr to be exact.
