Title:
Right-click in sidebar tree view does not highlight selected folder

Status in Nautilus:
  Fix Released
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: nautilus

Right-click a folder in the tree view on the left (other than the
current selection), to open a context menu. The folder you clicked is
not highlighted in any way. Since this is what one would expect, one
might think that the context menu refers to the already selected
folder, or that it only works properly if you left-click first (that's
  what I thought until today).

  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Expand the file system in the tree view on the left
  2. Select folder "bin" with a left click
  3. Right-click another folder, e.g. boot or etc.
  4. Notice that apart from the context menu's position, there's no indication which folder it refers to.

What I expected to happen: The selected object should be highlighted
while the context menu is open - of course without changing the folder
selection. In Windows Explorer, the selection indicator is temporarily
moved to the right-clicked folder, and moved back when the context
menu closes. Another solution would be an additional selection until
  the context menu is closed.

  Ubuntu 9.04
  Nautilus 2.26.2
