Title:
trouble setting file association
Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I want to set gedit as the default application for xml files. I alt-click an xml file, open properties, go to "Open With" tab. Chrome is the default for xml, I select "gedit" and press "Set as default". When I do, the selection goes back to Chrome and the file association remains with Chrome.
I tested this on Ubuntu 14.10 and 15.04.
