  gnome-panel crashed with SIGSEGV in locations_changed()

Bug description:
  This error happened when I accidentially deleted the main gnome panel
  at the top of the screen - the one with the date/time, menus for
  launching apps, etc - then straight after doing that, this error
  appeared.
