Title:
  gnome-screensaver crashed with SIGSEGV in cairo_pattern_reference()

Status in “gnome-screensaver” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  the screensaver did show a password prompt when  to the pc (dual monitor setup, unity2d, fglrx 11.7).
  So I changed to a terminal (ctrl+alt+f<..>) and immediately changed back again and the screensaver crashed allowing me to use my pc again.
  I did not need to use my password to get back to the desktop, so I guess this is a security issue.
