[Bug 1516213] Re: Lowering the brightness turns the monitor black in ubuntu 14.04

Bug description:
  whenever the screen brigthness is lowered using the function key the
  monitor turns black when we are at the lowest point of brightness.
  This problem exists in ubuntu 14.04
