Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates.

This is a package failure between currently unsupported releases so we
can no longer work on this.

Bug description:
  Hello,
  just before the problem has begun - the following activities were performed under the Ubuntu 11.04 system:
  1. the system was moved to a new partition with the rsync functionality:
      - the backup-copy of the "/"-file system was created;
      - the mentioned backup-copy was restored at new boot-partition;
      - the fstab was edited;
      - the GRUB was reinstalled.
  2. the VirtualBox 4.1 was installed as a host system and the windows 7 professional was installed as the guest-system:
      - the guest-system has been frozen.
  3. The cups package was removed with the sudo apt-get purge cups command.
