[Bug 885940] Re: When no scanner is attached and "Scan" button is clicked and the program is exited, prompted to save

Even worse, after the error message, it also asks for save when I click
"new document"

Title:
When no scanner is attached and "Scan" button is clicked and the
program is exited, prompted to save

Status in Simple Scan:

Status in simple-scan package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Using Ubuntu 11.10 amd64

When my scanner was disconnected and I open the Simple Scan program, I
selected "Scan". It showed a red bar at the top saying that it's not
possible since no scanner is connected. I close the program, and it
asks me whether or not I want to save. This is not what one would
expect, especially if there is nothing scanned and the scanner is
  disconnected.
