[Bug 1514199] Re: GIMP's GEGL C2G operation hangs
Just as a final test, I've installed Ubuntu 15.10 clean, in a virtual
machine (KVM), and the problem also appears there.

Title:
GIMP's GEGL C2G operation hangs
Status in gimp package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
When I run GEGL's C2G operator:
- The operation hangs (it does not crash, it just hangs) more or less
in the middle of the process.
- The operator works in rectangles. Some of these rectangles are
obviously darker than the rest of the image.
- I takes way longer than before. Maybe the parameters have changed
their meaning or the internals have changed, and the iterations and
samples have to be lower. I don't know right now.
I usually run at a radius of 1600, 40 samples, 20 iterations on 16MPix
images (4928 x 3264).
