[Bug 1518990] [NEW] Display corruption when using some QT programs

Public bug reported:

When using Virtualbox and some other QT based programs I get very
strange window corruption. It looks like the screen is painted several
times over eachother, and when transitioning to another sub-window the
previous windows elements are still on the screen. I've filed this under
X due to the errors I get in the console (and the fact it happens on
multiple different programs). I've had this occur on the compiz settings
manager (ccsm) and Virtualbox. Restarting the process fixes the issue,
but it appears to randomly trigger and to occur from the application
start.

When using Virtualbox I get this error in the console:
Qt WARNING: X Error: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter) 9
  Major opcode: 62 (X_CopyArea)
  Resource id: 0x0
