Title:
MIDI files don't play properly: sound is different to what it should
  be

Status in “gstreamer0.10” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 11.04 64-bit.
  Totem version 2.32.0

When playing MIDI files in Ubuntu, they play totally different
compared to playing the same MIDI files in Windows. The MIDI files
are playing wrong. The media player then carries on running forever
after the MIDI sound has been played from start to finish, but you can
close Totem afterwards as it does not freeze in any way.

If you don't have any MIDI files to test this bug, the vgmusic site
has many MIDI recordings of video game tunes and you can try playing
them in Windows and Ubuntu. I dual-boot both Windows 7 and Ubuntu -
that's how I discovered this problem.
