Message #15069
[Bug 574795] Re: Wireless network dies unexpectedly
Affects me in Oneric...nothing like this in natty but when I worked
installed backports in natty, this issue occured. Removing backports
made it work in natty. In oneric laptop is in a non-workable condition.
None of my bugs have ever been resolved so losing hope from Ubuntu now,
maybe time to switch.

Title:
Wireless network dies unexpectedly
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: network-manager
After upgrading to lucid wifi network starts to work badly. Two things
seem to happen:
1) Wifi stops transmiting but it appears to be connected
2) Wifi disconnects (message is shown). The network-manager tries to
reconnect and it finishes with an error or asking again the password.
Entering the password doesn't succeed.
Only workaround to reconnect is to deactivate Wifi interface and
activate it again. However, it happens again after some minutes.
