[Bug 1520426] [NEW] Improve animation adding icon to launcher
Public bug reported:
Feature request:
When you install a new application, a little animation follows in which
the icon flies from the software centre window into the launcher. But it
is a very basic and unbecoming animation. I think it could be improved
by by making it less linear in one (or preferably several) of the
following ways:
* varying the speed at which it moves
* varying the path through which it travels (e.g. spiral, erratic, etc.)
* varying the icon size (start huge and shrink down to size as it moves, or grow and then shrink)
* begin transparent and then become progressively more opaque as it moves
and so on ...
** Affects: software-center (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
