Message #151888
[Bug 1523148] [NEW] Banshee doesn't complete copying songs from uPnP server to portable player.
Public bug reported:
All my music is available over a uPnP server to any machine on my
network. Banshee can see and play the music from a remote laptop just
fine. However, when I try to drag and drop the music onto a portable
player connected via USB, the operation doesn't seem to complete.
The files convert (if needed) and end up on the portable player, but the
process running indicator (the little "bouncing" progress bar at the
bottom left of the banshee pane) never stops bouncing left to right and
back again. I've tried clicking the stop button, but then the whole
thing grays out and says "Stopping". Regardless of if I click stop or
not, it doesn't go away until I close banshee.
I can even copy more files over to the portable player, but the bar
still keeps bouncing, and displaying the name of the last file copied.
The information about portable music player never updates (though all
the files appear to make it onto the player safely).
The file attached is a log file of me starting banshee, adding one file,
and then adding another file, then quitting without even trying to stop
the bouncing progress bar.
