[Bug 1525207] Re: xserver-xorg-video-intel slow perfomance, needs updating

(2:2.99.917+git20151019-1~exp1ubuntu1). Since there is no information on
the git commit, I assume     ef859c807a4bfad7c8a01a1d63f354f3ef310db5
from that date.

By building the drivers on commit
ef859c807a4bfad7c8a01a1d63f354f3ef310db5 on 15.10.

I checked the daily build on 16.04, and the issue is there as well.
However, by using the latest driver on commit
c4565979572b61cf7fc0b931333c032c88b259f1, the issue is not visible.

I would like to request the driver in 16.04 to be updated, if possible.

Bug description:
  Laggy performance on Chromium/Electron based applications when running
  maximized windows.

  The issue is solved by using updated drivers from this ppa:
  https://launchpad.net/~oibaf/+archive/ubuntu/graphics-drivers

  Or by using latest from git here:
  http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-intel

  Only able to reproduce on 4k resolutions and higher

  Hardware specs:
  Dell XPS 15-9530
  Resolution 3200x1200
  Intel HD Graphics 5000
  Intel Core i7-4702hq
  16 GB ram
  SSD drive

  Ubuntu 15.10, fully updated per 2015-12-11
